I really disliked Cheria in ToG. It’s not that she was bad, but the way her personality fluctuated between hating Asbel in the beginning and treating him like crud, to the strong motherly type, to the super shy “can’t-confess-my-love-to-Asbel” schoolgirl, to angry love interest type (sometimes a mix of them in one cut scene!) was just annoying. I’m all for complex characters, but she came off as being a bit of a mess emotionally instead of gaining depth.”
